A synopsis of program contents:

      • Understanding and familiarisation of basic circuits types
      • Interpretation of ISO standard hydraulic symbols and use of system diagrams for diagnosis
      • Hydraulic system components function, testing and failure analysis
      • Cavitation - causes, effect and diagnosis
      • Test equipment and troubleshooting techniques (machine availability required for practical sessions)
      • Types of pressure control, flow control and compensation
      • CC-LS (PFC) fundamentals of system control, adjustments, testing and diagnosis
      • Hydrostatic steering control system diagnosis, service and repair
      • Directional control valve specifics (as required) i.e. linkage control valves and auxiliary flow control
      • Hydrostatic transmission drive control, function and troubleshooting
